That's why we took care during the development that you can design your project management as extensive, but also simple as possible with awork - without endless depths of settings and so on. The result is a project management tool that provides you with different, helpful settings for your projects when you need them.
This way you can give your projects clear deadlines. The notifications will remind you when a deadline is looming. Your project information and all tasks to be done are collected under the project. If needed, you can invite your clients and add estimated time efforts.
To start the project, you need a strong team, of course. You can easily add your project members, so that all of them can access the necessary information and their individual project tasks at any time.
Our tip: If you regularly create similar projects, such as digital campaigns that need to be optimized or recurring reporting projects, then simply use our awork project templates! Grab your existing project and save it as your own template. This way you can create and use all project settings and tasks for a new project with just one click.
Yes! In awork, you can view all concurrent projects in one dashboard, as needed. This way you can keep track of deadlines and projects running in parallel, even in the timeline view.
You can individually select the view of your lists and tasks within a project. For example, there is the classic task list, in which you can see bundled to-do lists - especially practical if you need a task list in detail.
If you are a real fan of Kanban boards, just choose our awork board view. Here you will find a classically designed Kanban logic that automatically creates itself from your different statuses. Depending on how you want to sort your Kanban board, you can choose User, Status or mirror the list structure of your tasks within the Kanban.
To get a temporal overview of all tasks within your project, we recommend the Timeline. There you will find all tasks that have a start and end date on a weekly basis. You can see overlapping tasks, easily adjust timelines via drag & drop and filter them individually as in all other views. A big plus of the tasks in Gantt chart view: Milestones! So you always have important dates in view and work with the whole team towards the individual steps.
Depending on your needs, you can quickly and easily map different views in awork. For example, if you need a quick project overview with the current status for a customer, this is automatically compiled with the previously set customer filter on the board or in the timeline view.
For a well-structured project planning you first need an overview of the free capacities of your team members. And by that we mean the real free capacities, not the perceived ones. awork therefore bundles the calendars of your team members with the tasks of all created projects.
You can see the workload of your team members at a glance: All appointments from the calendar, vacations and other absences (e.g. from the Personio integration), as well as assigned tasks with fixed time requirements are included. Thanks to this smart workload view, you can see free capacities at a glance. Overbooking is a thing of the past!
